Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's bridge networking subsystem. When a Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) tunnel is removed while outgoing network traffic is actively being processed, improper synchronization causes the kernel to access invalid memory. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to trigger a null pointer dereference, crashing the operating system and causing a Denial of Service (DoS).
