Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's BCM2835 Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) driver. When more peripheral devices are configured than the driver can accommodate using general-purpose input/output (GPIO) chip select lines, an out-of-bounds memory access occurs. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to trigger a kernel crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS), or potentially cause memory corruption.
