Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iwlwifi: mvm: Fix possible NULL dereference
In __iwl_mvm_remove_time_event() check that 'te_data->vif' is NULL before dereferencing it.
Statement
Red Hat rates this issue as Moderate because exploitation is limited to a local denial of service and requires systems equipped with Intel wireless hardware utilizing the iwlmvm driver. Enterprise server and cloud environments rarely deploy physical Wi-Fi adapters, which substantially restricts real-world exposure. Furthermore, triggering this null pointer dereference can cause a kernel crash but does not compromise system confidentiality or data integrity.
