Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's myrs RAID controller driver has been resolved, where a NULL pointer dereference could occur during hardware initialization failure. In myrs_detect(), if privdata->hw_init() failed, the subsequent call to myrs_cleanup() attempted to access cs->disable_intr, which was NULL, causing a kernel crash.

Statement

Red Hat Enterprise Linux is not vulnerable to this CVE, as it does not affect the versions or configurations of the Linux kernel used in its distributions.
