Description

A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel in the gadgetfs driver involving the concurrent mounting and unmounting of the gadgetfs filesystem, where a race condition between the functions gadgetfs_fill_super() and gadget_kill_sb() can cause the latter to deallocate the obejct the_device while the former is using it. This can lead to a use-after-free flaw which can result in data corruption.
