Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's e100 network driver. A use-after-free (UAF) vulnerability exists in the e100_xmit_prepare() function. When a socket buffer (skb) mapping fails, the skb is prematurely freed, leading to a UAF condition if the upper layer attempts to resend it. A local attacker could exploit this to achieve privilege escalation or cause a denial of service.
