Description

A flaw in the Linux kernel's cachefiles subsystem can lead to resource leakage due to improper handling of inodes during error conditions. Specifically, if an error occurs in functions like cachefiles_open_file() or cachefiles_create_tmpfile(), the associated inode may not be correctly unmarked as "in use." This oversight can result in the system erroneously reporting "Inode already in use" when attempting to access the same inode again, potentially hindering legitimate operations and affecting system availability.
