Description

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

iio: adc: mp2629: fix potential array out of bound access

Add sentinel at end of maps to avoid potential array out of bound access in iio core.

Statement

Red Hat products are not affected by this vulnerability because the MP2629 ADC driver is not enabled in supported enterprise kernels. Furthermore, exploiting this issue would require specialized physical hardware featuring the MP2629 battery management chip, which is not deployed in standard enterprise server environments. Consequently, this flaw presents negligible operational risk to Red Hat deployments.

Mitigation

No mitigation is specified in collected source.
