Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
selinux: Add boundary check in put_entry()
Just like next_entry(), boundary check is necessary to prevent memory out-of-bound access.
Statement
Red Hat has rated this vulnerability as Moderate because it is restricted to local execution and requires interaction with internal SELinux policy operations, which typically require elevated administrative privileges. An attacker cannot trigger this issue remotely or without access to the local policy interface. While the out-of-bounds access could cause a kernel crash or unexpected behavior, the overall blast radius remains limited to the local system.
