Description

A resource leak flaw was found in the ARM DMC-620 PMU driver. If platform_driver_register() fails during module initialization, the CPU hotplug callback registered earlier is not removed, leaving a dangling callback.

Statement

This affects ARM64 systems with DMC-620 memory controllers only. The leak occurs exclusively when driver registration fails during module load — an uncommon scenario that does not impact running systems.
