Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's autofs component. The autofs_catatonic_mode function does not correctly free memory associated with waitqueues when their usage counter reaches zero. This memory leak occurs during specific unmounting operations, particularly after an AUTOFS_IOC_EXPIRE_MULTI ioctl (input/output control) call. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to exhaust system memory, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) condition.
