CVE-2024-26905

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Btrfs file system. A local user could trigger a race condition by executing concurrent filesystem operations where block reserve accounting values are accessed without proper synchronization. This race condition may lead to inconsistent space tracking and premature metadata space reclamation, potentially causing performance degradation.
