Description

A flaw was found in the vmwgfx module in the Linux kernel. Trying to read the /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/mob_ttm file when the ttm_resource_manager is not allocated will cause a crash, resulting in a denial of service.

Statement

This issue can allow a local attacker to cause a system crash, resulting in a denial of service.
