Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's f2fs (Flash-Friendly File System) compression component. This issue occurs because compressed data blocks are not reliably saved along with their metadata during critical system operations, such as checkpointing. This can lead to data corruption or a denial of service if the system experiences an unexpected power loss or recovery event, as the compressed file system data may not be properly restored.
