Statement
This vulnerability is rated as having Low severity for Red Hat Enterprise Linux because it requires local access on systems equipped with specific AMD GPU hardware experiencing hardware-level memory errors. Triggering the flaw requires the system to undergo Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS) recovery, during which a redundant secondary PCI reset triggers a kernel general protection fault. Systems lacking AMD GPU accelerators or operating under normal hardware conditions without uncorrectable errors are unaffected.
