Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Nouveau GPU driver. This vulnerability allows a local user to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by triggering a system crash. When kernel debugging configurations are enabled, improper memory allocation during firmware initialization prevents Direct Memory Access (DMA) buffers from mapping correctly, causing the operating system to panic when the driver loads.
