CVE-2024-41087

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's libata-core component. An issue in the error handling path of the ata_host_alloc() function can lead to a double free vulnerability. A local attacker with low privileges could exploit this flaw by triggering a specific error condition, potentially causing a system crash and resulting in a denial of service.
