Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's qla2xxx storage driver. A local user could exploit this vulnerability to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by triggering a kernel crash. This issue occurs when the driver fails to properly validate local port data during registration error handling, leading to a null pointer dereference. Consequently, the operating system halts unexpectedly, disrupting system availability.
