CVE-2024-46715

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Industrial Input/Output (IIO) driver. This vulnerability occurs due to missing checks when accessing callbacks from the iio_info structure. A local attacker can exploit this by attempting to access corresponding sysfs entries when a driver does not implement these callbacks. This can lead to a kernel crash, resulting in a denial of service.
