Description
A flaw was found in the nilfs2 file system component of the Linux kernel. During mount-time recovery operations, if data recovery uses partial logs and an error occurs before the log writer starts, certain inodes are not properly cleaned up. This missing cleanup leads to a use-after-free vulnerability, which a local attacker could potentially exploit to cause a denial of service.
