Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's handling of User Datagram Protocol (UDP) Generic Segmentation Offload (GSO). When datapath hooks, such as Network Address Translation (NAT) or Berkeley Packet Filter (BPF), modify the structure of GSO fraglist packets, it can lead to corrupted packet geometry. A remote attacker could send specially crafted UDP GSO packets, causing a null pointer dereference and potentially leading to a system crash or network disruption, resulting in a Denial of Service.
