Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. During a warm reboot using the kexec mechanism, the memory resource management code improperly discards resource flags, causing driver-managed memory to be mistakenly selected to store reboot buffers. A local user can trigger this issue on systems with driver-managed memory configurations, leading to memory access errors and a Denial of Service (DoS) caused by a kernel crash.
