Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's network scheduling subsystem. When configuring traffic control rules with identical ingress and egress block identifiers, an error-handling failure prevents network flow blocks from properly unbinding on failure. A local user with network administration privileges can exploit this flaw to cause a Denial of Service (DoS), leaving the network device in an irrecoverable state until the driver is reloaded or the system is rebooted.
