Description
A flaw was found in the drm/amd/display component of the Linux kernel. This vulnerability occurs when a Display Manager Library (DML) allocation fails, causing invalid memory to be shallow copied. Subsequent memory release operations can then trigger a double free. A local attacker could exploit this to cause a system crash, leading to a denial of service.
