Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Netlink subsystem. When an application terminates a Netlink socket while an asynchronous data dump operation is in progress, the socket cleanup routines are handled incorrectly. A local user can exploit this issue by closing a socket during an active dump, causing cleanup functions to execute in an atomic context where sleeping is not permitted. This flaw leads to a system crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
