Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. A local user can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by crashing the system during page migration operations. The issue stems from the memory policy subsystem incorrectly assuming an address space contains at least one virtual memory area, resulting in a null pointer dereference when attempting to access non-existent memory mappings.
