Description

A flaw was found in ksmbd, a component of the Linux kernel. A local attacker with low privileges could exploit a negative offset value in the ksmbd_vfs_stream_read function when the 'vfs objects = streams_xattr parameter' is enabled. This could lead to an out-of-bounds read from the stream_buf, potentially resulting in information disclosure or a denial of service (DoS).
