Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's ublk device handling. A local attacker with low privileges could exploit a use-after-free vulnerability, which occurs when the system attempts to use memory after it has been freed. This could lead to a system crash (denial of service) or potentially allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code or escalate privileges.
