Description

A flaw was found in the Kernel Function Graph Tracer module in the Linux kernel. A race condition between checking and updating the fgraph_array can cause a NULL pointer dereference, causing a crash and resulting in a denial of service.

Statement

The Kernel Function Graph Tracer module in the Linux kernel as shipped in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and 9 is not affected by this vulnerability because the vulnerable code was introduced in a newer version of the Linux kernel.
