Description

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ksmbd: add bounds check for create lease context

Add missing bounds check for create lease context.

Statement

This vulnerability does not impact Red Hat Enterprise Linux because the in-kernel SMB server (ksmbd) is neither enabled nor shipped in supported kernel packages. Red Hat delivers SMB network file sharing services exclusively through the user-space Samba suite. Consequently, supported Red Hat platforms do not include the vulnerable code and are not susceptible to this flaw.
