Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's padata component, which handles parallel data processing. This vulnerability involves a reference count leak within the reorder_work function. When a task is already in the processing queue, its associated reference count is incorrectly increased but never decreased. This leads to a buildup of unreferenced objects in memory, which can eventually exhaust system resources and cause a Denial of Service (DoS), making the system unavailable.
