Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. A local user could trigger a null pointer dereference in the USB ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface) module. This occurs when the usb_hub_to_struct_hub() function returns a null value during certain race conditions, such as when a USB hub driver is being removed or torn down. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to a system crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
