Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. A local user could exploit a Time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the vsock implementation. This occurs when functions like vsock_find_cid() and vsock_dev_do_ioctl() race with module unload, causing a pointer to become NULL after it has been checked. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability leads to a null-pointer dereference, resulting in a system crash and a Denial of Service (DoS).
