Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s tracing subsystem (tracepoint.c). When chunk allocation fails in trace_pid_list_alloc (e.g., via a fault-injection in Syzkaller), the function trace_pid_list_set lacks proper error-handling. Under these conditions, a double registration of the same tracepoint can occur, producing a warning and potentially destabilizing tracing logic.
