Description
A flaw was found in the drm/msm driver within the Linux kernel. A local attacker with low privileges could exploit a memory management vulnerability by manipulating how Graphics Execution Manager (GEM) objects and Direct Memory Access (DMA) buffers are freed. This improper handling could lead to a kernel crash, resulting in a denial of service. Further exploitation might enable information disclosure, data corruption, or privilege escalation.
