Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's rtl8723bs driver, specifically within the rtw_get_ie() parser. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to send a specially crafted Information Element (IE) frame that causes the parser to read beyond the allocated buffer. This out-of-bounds read can lead to a denial of service (DoS) or, in some cases, an infinite loop, making the system unresponsive.
