Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's perf/x86 component. A local user can exploit a race condition during the processing of Performance Event-Based Sampling (PEBS) records. This occurs when an interrupt throttle stops event processing while draining PEBS records, leading to a null pointer dereference. The consequence is a system crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
