Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's cryptographic module, specifically within the Authenticated Encryption with Associated Data (AEAD) algorithms. This flaw stems from improper management of memory allocation sizes, known as reqsize. An attacker could exploit this by triggering the use of these algorithms, leading to memory corruption and system crashes, which can result in a denial of service or potentially allow for unauthorized code execution.
