Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's vidtv media driver. When transferring memory ownership, local pointers are not properly initialized to NULL. This oversight can lead to use-after-free and double-free vulnerabilities, allowing a local attacker to potentially corrupt memory. Successful exploitation could result in a denial of service, information disclosure, or arbitrary code execution.
