Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's ftrace component. This vulnerability occurs because the UASM_i_LA_mostly macro can generate more than two instructions, while the ftrace code expects a maximum of two. This mismatch leads to a buffer overflow, corrupting critical system variables and potentially causing the kernel to hang during boot.
