Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's perf subsystem. A local attacker with low privileges could exploit a use-after-free vulnerability. This occurs when creating a perf group member event with a specific flag, leading to an incorrect memory operation. Successful exploitation could result in a denial of service (DoS) by crashing the system, or potentially allow the attacker to achieve privilege escalation.
