Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's MCTP (Message Control Transport Protocol) implementation. During device probe failures, a redundant reference to a USB device is not properly released. This can lead to memory leaks, potentially resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) condition on the affected system.
