Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's ab8500 power supply driver. A race condition exists during the deallocation of a power supply component and the unregistration of its interrupt handler. This can lead to the interrupt handler attempting to access memory that has already been freed, a condition known as use-after-free. Such an event can cause the system to crash or result in silent memory corruption, potentially leading to system instability.
