Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. Specifically, within the octeon_ep_vf driver, the __octep_vf_oq_process_rx() function fails to check for a NULL return value from napi_build_skb() during memory allocation. This oversight can lead to a NULL pointer dereference, allowing a local attacker to potentially cause a denial of service by crashing the system.
