Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's AMD GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) component. This vulnerability arises because the JPEG v4.0.5 ring does not correctly support 64-bit user fence writes. A local attacker could exploit this by submitting commands with 64-bit user fences, leading to the rejection of these submissions and potentially causing a denial of service for affected operations.
