Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's net/sched: act_mirred component. An unprivileged local user, by leveraging user namespaces to gain network administration capabilities, can create a specific network configuration that triggers an unbounded recursion. This recursion bypasses a depth limit check, leading to a kernel stack overflow. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability results in a kernel panic, effectively causing a Denial of Service (DoS) on the system.
