Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's idpf driver. During initialization, if memory allocation for virtual port (vport) related buffers fails, the driver may attempt to access a null pointer when the module is removed or the system is reset. This can lead to a kernel null pointer dereference, causing a system crash and resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
