Description
A flaw was found in the mtd: virt-concat component of the Linux kernel. When a virtual concatenated device is already registered, the mtd_virt_concat_create_join() function generates a duplicate name but fails to free the newly allocated string. This oversight leads to a memory leak, which could potentially result in resource exhaustion and a Denial of Service (DoS) condition on the system.
