Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Dell laptop driver. During the initialization process, if an error occurs with LED or backlight registration, the system fails to properly clean up all allocated resources. This oversight can lead to resources, such as notifiers and debugfs directories, remaining active. Such unmanaged resource accumulation could potentially be exploited by a local attacker to cause system instability or a denial of service (DoS).
