Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Network File System Daemon (NFSD) component. When a client sends a request to free an admin-revoked layout state ID, the system fails to properly release the associated resources. This oversight can lead to a resource leak, potentially allowing a remote attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by exhausting available memory or state IDs.
